Ahh the joys of a 10 months old puppy. Some days he's an angel, some days I want to lock myself in his kennel and cry while he terrorizes the house. Today is the later. Let him outside to play and he won't stop barking (unusual behavior for him), been "fighting" through the fence with the neighbors weiner dog. Really they just bark and harass each other, unfortunately the neighbors let it happen and I'm the one trying to make my dog behave. I wonder rid they even know my dog could eat theirs for a snack? I tried to take him for a walk to chill him out, that helped some. Time to stuff his Kong and call it good. :angrygirl:

been taking my puppy(black/white) hunting off and on the past couple weeks. Been getting better, nipping ass and staying off the pig. I havent hunted my oldest/first dog for several months. I took him out and can see the old age kicking in more and more. Going deaf, sticking around too much, not answering bark, not even interested in actioning the pig. I guess back to retirement for him.

I love the GSP's. I could have had one when a buddy bred his female. Timing was off. Sure would like to have one someday.

They are awesome dogs! You have to put in a lottttt of time though in training. Their energy is unparalleled but they are very intelligent. Frank is a beast in the field yet acts like a house/lap dog at home. Hope you get to have one someday!

Right now I have my hands full with a 20 month old female black Lab. She's had pro training and is going back for more in January.
Meanwhile I'm training her daily. Just ordered a Garmin 550 pro e-collar. She will be an awesome gun dog.
And yes. Lap dog house pet at home.
    Best of both worlds.

I take Remi almost every day. She's got her bed and food and water in the corner of my office as a permanent fixture.

A few times per month I take my pup up to the farm my employer owns. 1400 acres of Gods country. I'm no farmer, I manage construction of barns and buildings.
We dug a huge pond and my Lab makes a bee-line for it as soon as I let her out of the crate.

Took my girl to the emergency vet just now. She must have ate a poisonous mushroom during our walk. Couple hours later started getting all disoriented, shaky, totally out of it. They are putting her on IV and watching her overnight. Hope she gets better by morning :/
