I know it's not gonna be cheap. I just don't want drive to So Cal to have shit work done. I don't mind paying for quality work.

Very true. And I know Tim charges top dollar for his work, which is probably the best or one of the best in the business IMO. But there are other shops around that do excellent work as well that are a little more reasonably priced

 

Get quotes and you will see they are not that much different and will save you money in the long run IMO.

 

You're in norcal? Bring it up to Reno, to Relentless Fabrication. Every bit as good as those SoCal shops and way closer!

Does he have the time to do a truck build?

 

I have no doubt that I would take my truck to DMZ if I had the money, and I have had them do little things for me here and there (I was there last week to get my coilovers charged with nitrogen). That being said some of their quotes for certain things are fair and sometimes they're top dollar. There are other shops that do great work for cheaper prices too but if you have the money of course go to DMZ. Tim is a good guy and you'll have no doubt that the work on your truck is top notch

Oh yea, I've been to DMZ before and seen his work, and I've met up with Tim a couple times, he is undoubtedly a great guy and does great work. As you said, some things are priced just fine, but his actual builds I've seen the price tags on and I can't quite afford that hehe.

 

I'll shoot him an email, but would preferably not want my truck sitting around for 6+ months? I understand he's pretty busy with his shop, so it all depends what the quote is and what he quote on turnaround.
