Could I get away with 285-60-18 tires on 18x12 rims with a 3inch leveling kit?

Welcome to TW. That is a insanely wide wheel, your wheel is actually wider than your tire you want to run. You should check the tire specs as I highly doubt they would mount to a wheel that size.

That wheel is to wide for that tire. Would wear out the edges and not the center. Why 18's ? Put a wider tire on there. What's the backspacing on these wheels?

A 12" width is best fitted with a 335 tire. Of course you can get that in an 18", but it's gonna be a 30 series racing tire.

    In your budget?

Yes? Perfect then. You can have high dollar slot car poseur look and render your truck functionless at the same time. A twofer I suppose.
