Space box off floor, ports down so you can't hear port noise. Also helps with ground shaker builds because you are firing the ports into the body/floor pan. You should of seen the shit I went though to get a full size box in the back of my DC.

Edit: Also point sub/ports down allows you to use the top of the box as storage, if needed.

Also ports don't have to be inside the box, you can have them come out of the box and feed/hide into places. I've ran ports under rear seats in a Hyundai that had some space under them. Worked great and if you were in the back seats it was pretty rad.

I wanted an AC but again the wife said no because that would have a wall of 12's in it. That's why she sold me her Civic, so I wouldn't build my truck as all audio.

I have a plan for your truck already since we talked about this. But it's not going to be an 'easy' build to get bass because you have no room behind the rear seats. And no, you are not doing under the seat subs. They are worthless.

We'll talk about it next time I see you. I'll get a parts list ready.

Well now I have lots of space behind the seats. But Its all spoken for by tools guns and ammo . And sounds good. Youre the stereo god around these parts. I have faith.

Oh we went to get whit measured and such for her bow. We had to take down to 50lbs. She has a 28" draw length. It was fun listening to her yell trying to get it back lol

Bass is bass. Gotta have a lil thump.

I've never thought of that. Been trying to figure out how to get the port noise bs out. The 15 sq in of port per cube right now does well. But subs cant handle the power now. I'm only running a few hundred more watts then Sam was. Doesn't help I'm running 3 cubes for 2 10s. Haha.

I'll have to give that some ideas though..

I remember someone telling me this when we put 4 Stroker 18's into my CRX. First burp ruined my sunroof, cracked 2 panes of glass, and put waves into my door skin. Man that really sucked.

HAHA! I'm at the point where my draw length is right over 30 and my arms are almost too long for my bow.

I figured 60 was going to be too much to start with. Are you guys coming up to the cabin? Bring her bow, we'll go shooting if she brings her gear. I always bring my bow up so I'll have my stuff. I'll bring the little crossbow as well.

If you ever want to sit down and figure out all the details let me know. When spacing off the ground you'll want to factor in how big the port opening is, excursion of the sub, and power, to figure out how much distance you need off the floor. Typically a few inches will cut it, but some builds need 6+ (Typically SPL builds).

Never got a clamp. Never really needed one because I never go that far into SPL where every bit of power made the winning difference.

    Fuck horses! lol.

I assumed you had. Haha. I was just curious if what I have read about my amp putting out so much power without consumption was correct.

I may have missed it, you keeping your truck now?
