It's always nice to see more second gens being SAC'd. Interested to see how it turns out. Is this the same kit that was used on the white access cab Rebel built? Or is this a new kit for the 2nd Gen?

Toyota changed from a W series trans to a R series trans in 05' behind the 2.7L engine, so swapping in a R151F to get the 4.31 first gear is a bolt in deal. This is based on the research I have done actual install will be in a week or so. I already had the trans, 23 spline Marlin dual case adapter and want an Atlas for the strength and ability to front dig.

We have had a 3 link kit out on the market since 2004. We originally built the kit on my 04' Taco and have that as our base kit and use the frame side link brackets in all the different variations of the kit. We have different axle brackets to accommodate different front axles. We have brackets for a Diamond axle, Currie Rock Jock, 9", etc. Some people want the upper link on the passenger and some prefer drivers side depending on 4cyl or v6 and exhaust routing so we offer brackets for both. What happened with the Rebel build and the way that truck left their shop is embarrassing to us and that is what sparked this build, to showcase our kit and show the different bracketry for the different models and axles, and most important to me is to show our kits performance on the trails. After Black Betty is done we have 3 more swaps that we are doing in house, 2008 v6 Taco, 2009 FJ, and a 2013 Taco using different axles and tires sizes and will do build threads on all of them.
