Hello everyone, Ive recently found out that the engine mount on the drivers side of my 2006 Tacoma SR5 V6 has corroded and collapsed into the frame. After realizing this I took it to Toyota in hopes that it would be covered under the frame recall, which it is not because it a re-build status truck which voids all Toyota re-calls. In its current state the truck is not drivable and I was wondering if there was any one out there who could offer some helpful advice on what to do next. The rest of the truck is in great condition and it seems crazy to see my beloved truck become a parts truck. Local body shops have been quoting me thousands of dollars to fix this because we will most likely have to pull the engine. Im wondering if there is any other ways to go about this repair in a way that I could tackle it in my small garage with my comparably small welder. I have more time than money...

    Thanks!
