3rd Truck...first Tacoma.

Hey Folks,

New member to the site and first time Tacoma owner (not sure what took me so long). Just bought a 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport and I'm absolutely loving it....except for one thing. It's not the trucks fault, but had one of the Toyo Open Country AT30's get a hole in the sidewall this weekend. For the life of me I can't remember hitting anything, and it's barely been off the pavement, expect the time I took my profile picture.

Loving everything else up to this point and way better than my Chevy and Nissan trucks.

Nice truck! have they done anything with the sport hood to make it functional yet? Or still for looks only?

I know they make kits to make them functional but i feel like its pointless to have a scooped hood if its not functional.

Thanks guys! Still not a functional hood yet. But I want to turn into a functional piece eventually.

Maybe you could do a separate thread in the 3GEN forum to let specific new owners know that happened.
Not everyone reads this forum on issues or tips.
