First Truck, First Tacoma, Tips?

My name is Chris, i'm a chef. Born and raised in Michigan. I've owned many vehicles in my life, last two were Jeep liberty's. i knew i needed a reliable 4x4 when i grew up, got a regular job and realized i didn't need to keep spending $1000 on a car and replace it every year or so. I've always wanted a Tacoma, but always needed a loan to get what i wanted, but couldn't find any at or below blue book, which was one of the things that made me think, "hmm that's probably a good sign." I finally got a job making decent money and traded in my 2007 jeep liberty for a 2008 white tacoma TRD sport. White wasn't my first choice, but i didn't care. One owner, no rust, no body, interior, or engine issues, great breaks, new tires, all work done was done at the dealership and has documentation. Excited to have this thing for awhile and make it my own. It's my daily driver, I don't off road, i enjoy camping and am used to long heavy winters. Perfect size truck for me, and my son's car seat fits perfect in back. Step one, Get an aux plug for the stereo. i bought a FM transmitter temporarily, but it won't last long. i read the thread about installing an aux input, but i don't like the idea of loosing my radio completely. Any advice, ideas, things to get, must have for all tacomas, anything. Love that i found this site.
