I went through Down South Motorsports. Found the "Bilstein 5100 Series 2005-2009 Toyota Tacoma Pre Runner & 4WD Pre-Load Adjustable" Package. Picked up a fabtech 1.5" AAL too. I did my own install. If DIY is something you are interested in check out this thread. Front Shock/Spring Removal

Spray in bed liner. 20 tint on front windows.
I just purchased a 2010 TRD 4x4 double-cab. It will never be off road. I want to level front with rear. From what I have read, I can accomplish this by using the 5100's. If this is so, should I buy the 5100's for the rear? What should the front be set at?
I also take it that the forum does not recommend spacer kits. I would appreciate any info.

Eibach Springs is a cheaper alternative to 5100's. It brings the truck up in front and gives a good ride.

    Just another option...

is there a big difference between the 5100's and the bilsteins on the trd package besides the ability to lift?

yeah they are valved different and they are a much better shock then the stock ones. just think of it that the stock ones are the first level of billys and the 5100's are the next step up. i have them and have them set to 2.5 and i couldn't be any happier with them. i mean granted with them jacked all the way up they are a little stiff but thats to be expected when lifting a truck.

I am changing out the factory BFG 265/70-16 to Michelin 265/75-16 tires. 31.7" versus 30.6" With the bilstein 5100's set at 1.75 or 2.50, what are the opinions as to which would look best on the truck. Also, what do you think of just using 2" level spacers.

    Thanks!

if i get Eibach Springs and billys set at 2.5 is the max lift still 2.5" or do you get more lift when you put those springs on?

I believe if you get the springs you get 1.6'' lift and you can set your billies to .85 for a total of 2.45'', however not any higher. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'm also researching the crap out of lifts, so the more information the better!
