I am 6'2" and my back is killing me. The lumbar support is so bad even all the way out makes my back hurt. Its like I am sinking into the seat to far. Yes I am a big guy but I never had back issues before buying this truck. I love it but I need to be able to drive for 2 hours with out back pain.

I am 6'3", the seat cushion on my 2015 Sport sloped 15 degrees from horizontal (front to rear). I installed 3/4" spacers under the rear seat brackets, raising the rear seat cushion and changing the slope angle to 10 degrees - made a big difference for me.

A little of this and a little of that.
This certainly sounds like a good solution and a quick, inexpensive fix.

I have a co-worker that is 6'4'', and he has had an upholstery shop rework his seats on his vehicles right after he buys them. It isn't that expensive and they can contour the seat cushions to you.

    Good luck.

There is a seat lift link in my sig, it raises the rear of the seat 1", makes the position more comfortable and more truck like IMO. You will loose 1" of headroom though.

My back has been bad for months, I was thinking it was work and heavy lifting on the weekends but now I am leaning toward the seat on my 15 trd sport.

I will definitely look into the seat lift.

Everyone is different. I love my trd seats, and feel they are the most comfortable auto seat I've ever had. I just spent 8.5 hours driving from Cape Hatteras to Pa. No pain from the seats.

Yeah me to, moondeath. I had a 2011 PreRunner that I didn't like the seats very much. The seats in my 2015 have been much more comfortable. I'm 5'11' and 200lbs. So I'm not as tall as a lot of folks. Could be it.

I'm 6'1" about 250lbs and I have had a L5-S1 fusion, and I had a 2012 DCSB TRD with 18,000 miles. Every time I sat in the drivers seat it felt like there was a metal bar hitting me in my lower back and my butt sank in the bottom cushion making it even worse. I traded that truck for a 2015 SR5 AC (non TRD) and the seats are in it are 1000 times better. The SR5 seats are firmer, the side bolsters aren't as high, and I don't sink in them. Im much happier with the SR5 seats.
