    Recently bought my first Tacoma and have been using this forum a lot for ideas and info. Only thing done so far is undercoated and a cap. Great info on this site. see ya around.............ted

    Thanks all for the welcome. Jwctaco, the cap is a Lakeland, made in Madison, WI, or a suburb of Madison. First cap I've put on a truck. My wife was pushing for me to get one and I think it'll work out well.

    Installed Cooper At/3's (265/70R16) and ProComp 7089 Rims. Tinted front windows. Did the Fog Light Anytime mod. Did the tailgate mod. Added running boards. Adding sound Deadening from RAAMaudio. Replacing stock speakers with Polk Audio DB6501's.

    i really like the red, reminds me of my 83 ranger,it got totaled. i've always owned pickups, carpenter. a cap is a must have. plus i camp out of the back alot.

    jwctaco, I was undecided over the red or pyrite mica and once I decided on the red it took over 2 months to get it. For a while there I figured the local stealer was playing games to get me to buy a '16. glad I got this one. 1st truck was a 86 ranger and 2nd was a 95 f-150 (sweet truck, died of cancer: Midwest salt)

    Howdy Xaks,

    I/m originally from south-central MI, then west TX, back to S-central MI, then to the UP, back to south-central MI, then to eastern WA, and finally to WI (HQ of H-D). northern Wi is very sweet, much like he UP of MI..................ted
