My truck sounds like a kazoo

As my truck is Parked an crunk up I hear a noise that sounds like a kazoo then when I put it in gear an as I press the throttle I hear this kazoo type noise go with the press of the throttle. Any ideas of what this may be?

I am SO going to do this mod! 'Cept I'm going to hook my exhaust to my sliders and put giant saxophone valves on em so I can drive thru Oaklland playing jazz!

 

I used to get the exact noise you are hearing from the sound of the starter winding down after it disengages. Just means the starter output shaft bearing is going out. Won't hurt anything ling term to use it as it is. In fact my Nissan Maxima still does this and starts fine still.
