    3" Suspension Lift, 3"body lift
Hey! I recently bought a 2001 Tacoma that has a 3inch body lift and a 3 inch suspension lift. My suspension is blown out and the ride is crazy rough and I need to replace it, went to a local shop here and the guy said what I needed would be 2600$!!! Hell no! Anyone out there who is more tacoma savvy than I have any recommendations? IT looks like I currently have adjustable coilovers.

The previous owner ruined the truck. Do you just want to un-do it and go back to stock?
If so, that can be done fairly cheaply. Stock parts accumulate in the garages of those of
us who have installed aftermarket stuff, so they should be available. Then it just takes
some tools and a buddy to help you, to remove the garbage, and replace it.

If you want to do this I have stock TRD suspension (shocks and coils, no leafs) with 45k original miles (bought the truck with 40k) i'll be able to sell at the beginning of next month, Fox is currently on backorder for my coilovers and they're not due until the end of the month.

Yes and it's going to take $2,600 :)

Actually, no one can help without knowing what you want to do. As was said, your options are to go back to stock or go with a different lift solution. Not all lifts cost thousands of dollars, for example, but nor would they be considered equivelent.

So how and where do you want to drive the truck?

I want to see pics of the "adjustable coilover" and how the rear is lifted.

Toytec coilovers. Height adjustable Bilstein's. 265/75/16 MT. TRD wheels. Rebuilt r150f. Marlin clutch kit. All kinds of new parts...
My 98 had all front suspension components blown out. Ball joints, tie rods. CV axles. A shop quoted me 2600.00. They said my rack and pinion was bad. I spent about 900.00 on parts. Spent a total of about 9 hrs. With a skilled mechanic friend. It wasn't an easy job. My rack and pinion is fine. Shop tried screwing me over. Now I know the front end of my pickup very well. It rides very well. Like new.
