Hi all...I'm seriously thinking about buying a Tacoma or 4Runner TRD Pro or Off-Road in the next couple months...I would appreciate any thoughts on this Craigslist offer in regard to price and quality/$$$ of all the mods. Thank you!!

I want to say I have seen that Tacoma posted on here somewhere. Maybe the owner is a member on here.

Welcome to TW. That truck has a very high quality suspension setup, with top notch parts and sounds to be done right. However that is the same price I paid for my brand new 2015. Personally I prefer to buy stock and build yourself to tailor to your needs and make it yours.

Helluva Tacoma. A lot of money into it. If the mods fit your taste than it might be worth it. I hate buying modified vehicles, but if it hasn't been beaten too hard it could save you the time, money and hassle of modifying a stock one

What others have said. Gorgeous truck, but for that price you could buy a brand new one. I'd much rather build it myself and start with zero miles, no matter how well-built it may be. However, it's all in what you're looking for.

Thank you for all the great comments. That truck just looked so well done...but buying a 2016 4x4 Off Road and modifying over time would also be a lot of fun.

Now to choose between the QuickSand and Blazing Blue Pearl! Both of which seem hard to find here in Southern California...but likely easier to acquire than the 4Runner TRD PRO.
