Too late for synthetic & which brand

Yes maybe? alright damn it I don't really know ... can we go with probably and hope for the best?

 

My 2006 2.7 has 117000 miles and has run 5w30 conventional oil its whole life. I'm switching to Mobil 1 5w30 at my next oil change (120000 miles).

 

M1 makes a high mileage formula with conditioners for seals and gaskets. If you're going to run M1 anyway....might be worth using this.

Thanks! Yeah I saw that variety. I don't have any leaking seals or gaskets, so I'll try the regular Mobil 1 5w30 first and keep a sharp eye and ear on it for a while.

 

Might keep you from ever having any leaks though. Proactive instead of reactive, as they say.
