yea so im pretty sure this is normal but just to double check, this little tube leaks all the time over some sealed up wires and eventually it makes a little pool right behind front right tire. it doesnt even matter if i have AC or cold air on, even with heat sometimes it does it. doesnt smell or look weird, i think its just water, can someone tell me what it is and if this is alright?

If your defrost heater is on the a/c is on to dry the air.

The ac will run if the defrost is on, and it can still condense some water just running the climate control across the coil. Only worry if it stops dripping

This is a good idea but there's one more point to add. Be careful how long you extend it if you live in a cold climate. Other posts I've read got me concerned about the extension freezing up in winter if you make it too long.

I ended up installing an elbow connection that didn't add much length but directed the condensate away from the frame.

You're lucky because this is an easy mod then. Before I knew of the freezing problem I had extended the tube below the frame. I bought three feet of rubber tube with an inside diameter of 3/8" and an appropriate sized hose clamp.

The easiest way to access the tube is to remove the plastic rivets holding the felt protection piece in place. Once that is out of the way the tube is right there to modify. The 3/8" ID tube purchased fits perfectly over the condensate tube sticking out of the firewall and use the hose clamp to hold it in place. I then ran the tube through a couple obvious places to get it to drain below everything right on the ground.

Here's a pic from behind the passenger wheel of the finished project:
