This one is a doozy, I've spent hours searching and have found only a few similar instances, all have been a blown ring and pinion. The problem I'm having is that my front diff feels like it's been welded solid; no movement whatsoever. I'll put this in chronological order so it's easy:

    1. (2 weeks prior) Use 4wd fuse to replace blown 12v outlet fuse, needed the 12v for something important
    2. Back truck into barn in 4Low (ADD not activated, no fuse still, no light on the dash)
    3. Change front wheels and tires, 1 side at a time, set back on ground
    4. Change rear tires, both sides at the same time
    5. Set truck back on ground
    6. Replace blown 4wd fuse (J-shift case is in 4Low position still)
    7. Turn key to On position
    8. 4wd light on dash lights up, "okay that's fixed"
    9. Start truck to drive out of barn
    10. Turn off parking brake
    11. Let clutch out (still in 4Low with the 4wd light on), feel some resistance
    12. Parking brake known to stick once and awhile, give it a little more throttle
    13. Truck will not move, in forwards or reverse, feels like the front brakes are held solid
    14. "Maybe it's stuck halfway into 4wd," put transfer case in 2H, 4wd light turns off, rock back and forth, still wont budge
    15. Lift all 4 corners of truck, try again
    16. Take in and out of 4wd, light goes on and off, try 1st and reverse, front wheels still won't move at all in either direction but back tires turn as they should
    17. Get angry and take brother's Honda back to college
It really feels like the front diff has been welded solid. With the truck up in the air, I cannot turn either tire either direction, nor can I turn the front driveshaft. With the truck off the ground, I can feel something shift in the front end when I put the transfer case lever in 4H from 2H and again from 4H to 2H. There had been no noise or anything from the front end previous to this, so I'm really hoping it's not something as expensive as gears.

Anybody have any idea what could've caused something like this by just picking the truck up and putting different tires and wheels on?

Wheels are hitting the caliper? That would not explain the fuse issue though.

Good thought. If the replacement wheels were not meant for this truck, or had too much backspacing then this could happen.

Put back the original front wheels and see if the issue goes away.

I did that one time never even thought about the wheels being different .

Front end would not move because the wheels are pulled tight against the calipers .

I bet that is the problem here.
