When I bought my 2010 Wrangler used it already had Jeep wheels from a 2012 mounted on it. The 2012 sensors were a different frequency than the 2010 and would not read. I shopped around and bought 5 new aftermarket sensors for about $35 each on Amazon. My local tire store broke down the tires and installed all 5 for $50. I had all 5 replaced for just over $200 total. I've not researched Tacoma's, but would think you should be able to pull the factory sensors. If not there are aftermarket options.
