3" lift, 18" XD spys, 33" nitto terra graps, 1.25 wheel spacers, bull bar + light bar.
I've got a 2010 4x4 5 speed 2.7 with 69,202 miles. When I'm in 3rd-4th and sometimes 5th gear I can give it gas and it will rev up fast and high while in gear, but no power is going to the wheels. Need help with diagnosis and any way to fix. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. (Tried searchig, but I suck at it)

Is the truck going into gear fine, or is it doing anything odd before you feel the gears mesh? (No ideas, really - just trying to get questions flowing to narrow down the problem)

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
Classic symptoms of a slipping clutch. Only sure fix I've ever used is a new clutch+resurfaced flywheel, if the OE isn't too deeply scored.

Sounds like a slipping clutch to me. I always check them by gunning it hard when in 5th gear on the highway and seeing if the RPM needle surges then comes back down again before making a solid grab.

Sounds like a clutch that need replacing

New clutch installed on my '98 Tacoma with the 2.7 was about $800. And this is definitely the problem.

The difference between us is the original factory clutch on my '98 made it to 180,000 miles. Not sure if 2nd gen problem or different driving style.

EDIT: This dude made it to 325,000 Miles on the OEM clutch. Was yours purchased new or used? Do you rest your foot on the clutch pedal while driving? Seems like it's failing way too early.
