Been watching the forum most of the year and decided to finally join. Always owned Chevy trucks but decided it was time to get a small dedicated wheeling and hunting truck. So I purchased a 2011 double cab short bed back in June. Never had a truck this "new" only had 23k miles on it when purchased and it's bone stock. The toyota packages confuse me because this one is a base model yet has power windows locks, key fob, cd player, etc.

But I just got my 3" ome lift, 16x8 level 8 mk6 wheels, light racing UCA, and a set of 285/75/16 general grabber at2 tires to put on the truck. Just waiting for space to open up in our garage so I can begin the build.

The first picture is the first day after I bought the tacoma and the other photo is the reason I decided to go with a Toyota, spent a day following a couple of hilux's around the trails. (the green jeep is my wife's 2007 jk sahara)

Those hilux's are over in NC at a training facility a friend of mine runs. Most of those vehicles in the photo are diesel.

Next to Uwharrie. Not sure of the city? We went over for a camping trip and got the chance to check the trucks out. My profile picture has his company name and my goofy a$$ standing next to one of his trucks.

No they were chevy duramax. Traded a 2006 crew cab 4x4 2500hd in on the tacoma. Wish it was possible to get a Toyota diesel here that wasn't 30 years old. Still wouldn't be the same though..but close. My 2006 dmax was pretty much stock but my 2003 dmax was far from stock.
