I just traded my 05 Xterra in last week for a Red 16 OR MT, my X was starting to die with 110k miles and all the extra crap on it, e.g. 6" lift, 33s, Skids, bumpers, etc.., was starting to stress out other components of the truck and repairs were getting expensive.

The tacoma is amazing and im glad after 6 years i went back to a manual, it shifts harder than my old civic but that is to be expected. im still figuring out all the new things they have added such as the clutch cancel and the nav system but its better than worring if my LCA is going to fall off or my timing chain snapping while doing 60 mph.

So far im most impressed with the MPG, im averging 21.5 although my commute is 15 mi on I-5 with no traffic for the time of day that i go to work so the highway miles may have somethign to do with it.

I havent taken it off-road yet but this weekend is going to be the maiden voyage so i can get one loast ride on my CR250 before it gets too cold.
