Keep in mind that Red Letters are a heavier tire. What size tire are you going? 265?

Exactly, and I agree. If your shocks are worn out and need to be replaced anyways than the 5100 is the perfect option.

well, I'm currently running stock Nitto Terra Grapplers but I really just want a slightly more aggressive look with a thicker meatier tire look....However, I tow a bass boat anywhere from 2-3 times/week and at times a lot of miles so I'm trying to maintain SOME of my fuel efficiency. Maybe the red letters would be a bad choice. I must say I've been very pleased with the Nitto's. Everyone told me to go with more expensive tires but these have lasted for a very very long time. :poking::poking:

3" lift kit, complete sound system, more to come..... just got this truck
In my personal experiences, I haven't been able to fit bigger tires until I did a complete 3" suspension lift on my truck. I have lifted 3 Tacoma's now and it has all been the same. I did a leveling kit like what they are talking about doing for my buddy and he still had to run stock tire size. A 3" lift will give you the clearance for the tires you want. I am with all of the other guys also. If you wanna spend a little over $1,000 for lift and install then I would get the 6" lift from rough country. I had it on my old truck and I loved it.
