The Waiting Game...Who's playing?

I just keep looking at this which I received in an email today from the dealership. Ugh. I just want it now.

 

ah I wish I could even get an estimate. Put my deposit down last week. I guess its still too early to find out. Hopefully you will get yours sooner than later!

 

My salesman texted me today to tell me that my truck has been built and will be here no later than Nov. 4th...more than likely he said on Oct. 31! Was originally due to arrive on Nov. 12th....TRD Sport 4x2 DC SB V6 blue...tow package and mats and rails...Put a deposit down on it on Oct. 8th!

 

Awesome, what are the specs on your truck. My dealer emailee me and told me mine was built on 10/16 also.

He said he was able to tag it as "hot" to try and speed it up some.

I live in MD, the system have him a 10/29-11/2 delivery.

 

I'm just impressed that they built it before the estimated date! Perhaps they are catching up with orders or maybe that is why they are taking so long to process orders and give build dates so they can catch up with back orders? All of you short bed guys are lucky lol. Us longing for the long beds (pun intended lol) have to wait forever!

 

I have that exact truck coming, I live just up 81 in Hagerstown. Truck is built and dealer expects it next week! When did you order?

 

Nothing fancy just the TRDORSBDC Auto Trans. w/ the tech package premium entune in Super White.

 

look what I just found! they unload the trucks in the lot right next to my work before they drive them over to the dealer. I checked the VIN and it's mine.

 

I don't think I'd be able to concentrate on work the rest of the day... congrats!

 

considering it likely won't even actually get to the dealership until at least tomorrow, it might be a few days!

 

Been waiting for about two months, but at the airport now! Flight leaves in 2 hours! Excited!

 

I was afraid of this would be the case... A relative of mine is an employee so we were able to save some money with their discount.

TRD Sport 4x2, MGM, tow package, and predator steps. NO tech and NO tonneau cover.

At this point, I don't know if it would take longer to modify the order. Any thoughts?

 

I don't think that is that weird of an order. I think the main things that are making it difficult to get the trucks is if you want a long bed or sometimes tech package. Before it seemed as though that was all they were taking, now people are having issues getting it.

 

Just waiting for my email from the dealer now - sometime between NOW
and Saturday is what I was told.

 

10 days to my build date! When did you order? I think I've been waiting the longest out of everyone I have spoken to. :/

 

Ah yeah, no time at all. August 24th order date here :/ That's what I get for insisting on a long bed.

 

My build date is suppose to be tomorrow! So excited and its a TRD sport long bed! I am trying to relax, but cant. I really hope port/delivery will go quick.

 

You will have to keep us posted on how long it takes for you to get it after your build date. I have heard lots of varying differences from 2 to 4 weeks.

 

Saturday the 17th I test drove a limited, but wanted a different color. They told me they could get one by the 21st, and today it came in. Given all the stories I've read, I'm shocked they were able to pull this off.
