Worked for General Motors in the USA, Japan and China for 47 years. Recently needed / wanted a 2nd vehicle. Used and lower cost and reliability was important, so I bought a 2009 Tacoma SR5 with a Gem top. Will be used as a 2nd car, and also for utility (hauling firewood, furniture, fishing gear). I am starting up a small business to sell Electric Assist Bicycles in Oregon. My eBikes are designed for we more experienced Americans ( older, Baby Boomer age ). This truck was built in the Fremont, CA plant (joint venture between GM and Toyota).
My only complaint: noisy accessory drive / serpentine belt or bearings or misalignment, worn or stretched belt ? Is this a common problem ?

On my 2008 a new serpentine belt solved a loud chirp noise. Might not be your problem, though. Oh and welcome to TW.
