    Replaced leaf springs in 2012
I replaced my Tacoma 2010 leaf springs in 2012. It cost me $1,800.
I was pleased when I heard Toyota was recalling them last year.

But I am more than disappointed about having to wait until all parts for all models have been manufactured and delivered before I can get my refund. Currently they do not know when that will be. I put that money out 3 years ago and think that all of us should be given our reimbursement NOW.
Do we need to threaten a class action suit for Toyota Canada to wake up and smell the coffee.
Lets talk good faith. Toyota has dropped down a step or two in how they are handling this situation. What do you think????

I decided to replace mine with a set of Dakars since they had no functioning replacement for their faulty ones and leaving my truck parked in the garage for a year wasn't an option. IMO Toyota should foot the bill on at least a significant portion of those since it was a fix for their oversight. Now, will I ever see a penny of that given as though they don't have to eat whatever cost on parts + labor the actual fix would be? Not likely.

You won't get $1800 in a class action..You might get a 10% off coupon, or a $20 check once the lawyers are paid and the funds are split.
