Hey everyone, so i just got my first new to me and new generation truck (with all that technology...) Its a 2006 access cab Taco. And me being used to my 1990 4runner with little to no onboard computer stuff. I cut out a the security system in my new truck and now it won't start?!?!?! and I need it for work tomorrow.
The security system didn't work before i cut it out, hence why i cut it out and the wires were getting in the way of my clutch petal. Somebody please help me and tell me how to get my truck running again!!

Here is a pic of the stuff i took out.

    Thanks!!IMG_6338.jpg

Hope its just the removal of the starter kill relay. Look at the wires under/in the steering column, one might need to be re connected to itself.

they usually cut a wire by the column and cut it to the alarm then back. you just have to reconnect it
it could be a red wire or a yellow cant remember for the yotas what color the wire is

Exactly. The ignition wire is cut and the alarm is spliced in between. Open the steering column and you should see it right away.

the ONLY wire from the factory that should be cut is the starter wire. all wires should be soldered (if done properly) the starter wire for the truck is green w/ black stripe. second starter is black w/ white stripe. reconnect and should start. assuming you have a good battery and gas.
