Wanted a custom tailgate made after crunching my stock one, but after mentally designing it I realized I was basically imagining something that looked like a bed extender... Can any be used without the tailgate... and not rattle around off road? Id like to safely affix my backup camera to it as well. Maybe use it in conjunction with a tailgate net, or whatever they are called. Talk me out of it? Point me in the right direction? TIA!
