    Hi y'all.

    Name's Bill, from Stratford, CT

Just bought a 2010 Tacoma SR5 access cab, 6cyl, 4x4 6spd manual. My g/f and I bought a house a few months ago, and the projects/groceries, etc were just not fitting in the back of the sportscar. I'd kinda always wanted a Tacoma ever since my cousin had a super charged TRD back in like 02.

I used to have an 06 Nissan Sentra Spec-V, which was heavily modded, and a 2010 BMW 335xi with all the M performance mods that I traded in for the Tacoma. I also work in the auto industry so I might be able to point someone in the right direction for repair/oem stuff.

Love the truck, and its getting some nice upgrades in the next few days that I'll post pictures as they happen.

I have some questions and was wondering if some people could point me in the right direction.

    1. Is there a compiled list of seat swap options for the front seats?
1a. I'm a huge ogre, 6'3, 240 lbs and I would love for the seats to slide back like another inch or two, is this possible at all? Can I get other brackets? (or would other seats just be better?) I had test driven a few different access cab Tacomas (07,15,16) and they all seemed to have a little more leg room.

    2. Are there any absolutely must-freaking-do mods for this truck? My old sentra had quite the list (pre-cat explosions...)

    3. I forgot to mention, but the radio is very quiet, even with the volume almost at max, all the speakers work, but its just super quiet. Is this common?

I've already removed the rear seats and head-rests (which were more secure than most bank vaults) and plan to keep this truck for a long time.

Also, I've heard a little bit about what could be causing a rattle/knock I occasionally hear, but I also get a decent squeal/whine when the vehicle is idling and not in gear. The squeal is probably the belt or one of the related components.

    Thanks,

    Bill
