As you know, you and your business means so much to all of us at Pelfreybilt. Because of this, I want to take a moment to give you an update on our company and temporary, increased lead times.

2015 has been our biggest year of sales and while that’s an amazing success, of which we are insanely thankful for, it has brought with it, some growing pains we are actively working through.

Some of you were quoted an 8-10 week lead time on your orders and as of now, we are two weeks late. For that, I am deeply sorry. We are doing everything we can to complete all orders within the new time line, but please rest assured that we will get them completed and shipped to you as quickly as we can while maintaining the quality we promise and expect.

In order to continue our promise of transparency, I'd like to quickly address the issues that have caused these delays:

    1) Ten Bumpers were unfortunately scrapped, the welder had to be let go, and a new one was hired.

    2) A machine we use to cut our products took an unexpected two weeks to fix.

    3) Our two best welders, who are also brothers, lost their father and were out on bereavement for a week while handling their family affairs.

    4) My father, who's been bravely battling cancer for the past three years, was just admitted to the hospital. I am doing my best to be there to support him and my mom, as well as manage the office.

Moving forward, we have already secured a new and bigger manufacturing facility, which will allow us to increase our production while drastically reducing our lead times in the future. The transition to this new facility has begun, but will not happen overnight. Trust me - it will be worth it.

Your business and support is what makes Pelfreybilt possible, and our communication with you is key in all of this.

On behalf of Tyler and myself we thank you for the patience and support of our #pelfreybiltfamily during these difficult days. We promise to keep you updated and to continue moving forward, while maintaining our quality products and outstanding customer service.

My thoughts are with you and your crew- can be tough times.

Honest communication and obvious family importance just kicked you guys to the top of my list for when I can afford some more armor or bumpers.

That is why some companies don't hire people related to each other cause if something happens in the family they are all gone.

Family is number one. Bumpers and the likes can wait. That you've come onto this forum with details of why there have been delays when you could have simply said we've moved and are experiencing growing pains, speaks volumes of your character.

Look after your family Satin, everything else can wait.

Our prayers go out to you and your family.

I'm not yet a Pelfreybilt customer either but with all they have going on (which is more important), taking the time to update people speaks volumes to the integrity of the company.
