I would put my money on a stall that was then followed by the low oil pressure light. That would at least make sense. It does not explain the stall however.

Ok but you can not get to oil pressure warning until you run out of oil in No2 pan (pass thorough low oil level correct). So you need to hold truck for long time with low oil level warning until pump pumps out all the oil.
He maybe mistook Low Oil Lvl light, or maybe he got oil pressure warning first time and second time it was not enough time to get there.
The only way to know for sure is to see low oil level warning come on and run engine for 3 minutes in high rev. That would make sure, that if there is oil starvation it will pump oil from bottom pan.
Side story here is if I am right engine will blow up, thats why I think @2016_dbag should do it.

You're spending wayyyyy too much of your time arguing with BlueT. The dude has proven time and time again he knows absolutely nothing about trucks, and will continue to lie over and over again to try and convince others that he is right. There hasn't been a single instance where he has been correct, everything he has posted has been incorrect. Hes just a troll on a mission, best to ignore him.

On older trucks oil pressure light comes on even when you turn the key. That does not mean you lost pressure. Since 2016 has all new warning system I am assuming this comes on when truck indeed lost oil pressure. Otherwise what the point of the system.
Oil level sensor has to kick in before oil pressure, and oil pressure sensor most likely will shutdown engine and pop engine error.
We can theorise all we want but we either have to wait for Toyota to come out with answer (which means people should avoid off-roading until that time) or we get couple trucks to run dry.
    There are no more choices...
BTW moose post about leaky head sounds like warped head when you run with out oil and overheat. Unless moose post was a lie, there is clearly a problem somewhere.

If it ran without oil with only 200 miles on the odo, then it means it was a human error in forgetting to put oil in it at the factory. That would not be a mechanical failure of the engine.

I understand, and its great idea to have that test done. Still I don't know if that proves if there is, or there is not a problem.

That can only be confirmed by Toyota or somebody running truck at steep angles.

I am not speculating just pointing to things that seems to fall together. (you know if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck) I have no reason to not to believe @05Moose , he is been meber for a long time. So if he posts something that occurs when similiar problems happens to two guys who posted, with one truck being also dissembled by Toyota, I tend to agree with a notion that is not one truck fluke but a problem.

Also we been down this road with head gasket issue on 05 trucks didn't we?

I dont think anybody can make 200 miles with no oil at all. But I can imagine you would make 200 miles if you had oil and your engine was loosing pressure on the hills only.

Video with Dash and truck in On. Oil pressure light does not come on with just truck in ON like older trucks, so when you stop will not come on either. That means it can only come on when there is in fact low oil pressure.

I have a thought, but even if OP's engine has a problem and moose's engine is blown, does that for sure mean anything the entire 3rd gen reliability at all? TW is a huge forum but already you can find this incident in 90% of the new threads about buying a 2016 that have come up in the last little while and that seems a little silly to me. Isn't this a bit early for that? Sort of like the 2-4 Colorado's that blew there LFX engines from factory? I mean, the Colorado engine isn't that weak from what reviews have come out after a year, or are we now judging issues based on even a single truck having an issue on the initial build run?

Either way I am interested in what actually happened to OP's engine. No offense BlueT, but if you want to see if a slope would blow the motor I wouldn't want to put my own truck through the test you described. Would you? Probably not. Maybe someone here is currently working for a dealer and can try the test with a truck that isn't in someones hands or something like that.

does turning tires to black wall out count? How bout added snug top rebel.
    Exactly what I was thinking.
First week I owned my 2013 I was stopped on an incline pointed up and in a forward gear(auto tranny), I allowed the truck to roll back a couple inches, traction control or another nanny grabbed the abs so fast the truck stalled, I was at idle, all I did was release brake pedal before I hit accelerator and truck stalled in a milasecond. I have been able to duplicate same stall on even slight inclines.
Just my experience, not wanting to argue with anybody

I am OK if you want to change to in bold, even if on video clearly you can see there is no pressure light when truck is ON.

This is 2005 all over again... When 2gen was released first few guys who drove a lot of miles blew head gasket. Majority yelled this is not an issue because its one or two trucks.
Two years later Toyota changed head gasket for 2007 year model and now a lot of 2005-2006 trucks end up loosing engines, while my 07 had been running with out skipping a bit and there are plenty of 07+ trucks with now over couple hundred thousand miles on the clock.
If it quacks like a duck, if it walks like a duck, usually its a duck.
