Actually the only difference from 01-04 is if your bottle has a fluid level sensor in the bottom or not.

Hi, I'm new here and I saw this thread and thought it might be a good place to start. I just aquired an '04 tacoma and it doesn't have a fluid res. I got one online and it has a pump with a two wire plug. My truck has a plug with 4 terminals so I'm thinking that I'm missing something. The res I got also has a hole in the bottom, I guess for a sensor. So my question is, what am I missing? Besides the sensor, is there a pigtail that plugs into the four terminal plug and goes to both the sensor and the pump? I have a haynes manual with a wiring diagram showing only two wires to the pump. All that came with this truck is a 4 terminal plug hanging down in front of the right front wheel and a hose hanging beside it. Thanks
