Toneau cover does not leak there was no water in any of those pics I posted. I took it thru a car wash after going off road with it and there was no water in the back bed and the other night it rained like there was no tomorrow and no water in the bed. That said driving in the rain the bed IS NOT WATERPROOF.

you're right. no water in the bed. but there certainly appears to be water marks down the side of the bed, and in the bed itself. which prompted me to ask if your tonneau cover leaked. simple question. no need for witty commentary on mall crawling.

Like I said it's a pickup truck, just trying to nip the trolls in the bud should they not like my dirty bed liner. Water was from a tile job we did last weekend and we were using a .... wait for it..... wet saw which requires water and gets dirty with rock dust so I imagine thats where the dirt came from, that or it was from hauling some worm castings or hauling some grout/thinset... or ..... I'll wash it this Friday and get rid of the dirt marks. Not trying to be an ass here, just not sure why anyone would worry about water in the bed of a pickup truck?? Again it is NOT WATER PROOF by any means.

well, for example, as someone who uses a truck for more than just truck shit, i carry luggage in the back of mine sometimes, or tools that i don't want to get wet, because the cab is full, or work shit that i don't want to get wet that won't fit in the cab. so knowing whether or not a factory supplied tonneau cover leaks is actually valuable information for someone like me that does sometimes need to keep shit in the bed of the truck dry.

To answer your question weather or not the cover leaks.. I would say YES but a VERY VERY small amount. There are other areas inside the bed that will also leak more. Those little access doors right above the rear tires are one for example. Take one of those covers off and you can see your rear tire thru the...... wait for it..... large drain holes!! I guess the drain holes are there for folks without the bed cover. When its raining hard I think thats where the water comes thru into the bed with the cover on. Spray from tires into wheel well then up thru the drain holes. Not a lot but some. Nothing I'm worrying about. Maybe some one with come up with a liner for those little compartments to keep the water out with cover on.

So yeah you would need to cover anything you don't want to get wet. Tools?? I don't have too many of them that can't get wet.... cant really think of any TBH. Luggage... yeah do what I do and get waterproof luggage. Something you can take in a canoe or a kayak on the water..think boating gear. We do a fair amount of camping and boating and X-country skiing so yeah wet gear is where its at for the back of our truck.

Thanks for the pics. I definitely will be going with the weather techs once they go into production, but I will need something for the time being to protect the carpets and wanted to see what they looked like and if they had any sill coverage or if when it said sill on the invoice, it was just the stickers on my '14. Also I wanted to make sure that the truck still comes with 2 d-rings standard at the tailgate end of the bed.
