Nice truck! I think you're wise to get the proven I4 engine if it does what you want. The new V6 may need some debugging.

A 140mph speedo and 8,000rpm tach. Why do companies do this on everything these days? A Tacoma couldn't freefall 140mph, much less run it... Pet peeve of mine.

How else would we know how fast a Tacoma can go with a jet engine strapped to the bed?

I think he's referring to the "delete package" where they remove the rear seats and change mirrors, bumper, and door handles to black.

I'll need to check with the listing of the options on the window sheet. I'm sure they were dealer installed.

I really like those wheels. What size are they? They look like 16s.

Yes, they are 16" wheels. They are an option listed under the 2016 SR Tacoma.

If anyone with a Taco 2016 v6 gives you any crap about the I4, just tell them it was your choice to get the truck engine, it was theirs to get the "weeny" Car engine.

Front shot as requested. Also, a pic right at sundown. I hope to get it tinted next week.

You know Soundwave may never have towed a 1200 lb. trailer in the Rockies with the 4, but I have...and it was an automatic to boot. Piece of cake...

I too have the 4 banger. SR5 4X4. Just a typical truck for transportation, work, home depot and typical daily driving. Had a 2X4 before. Went with the 4X4 for driving in the snowy winters. Runs just fine and the 6 speed auto works very well.
