Tundras are available from the factory with an LSD. Hence the 'C' option for Toyotas.

I *have* heard (from EnolaGaia, haven't seen him around in awhile but he's absolutely the man on knowing about what came on what trucks from the factory and when stuff was an available option) that a limited number of late 04s came out with TRAC (I'm assuming as somewhat of a guinea pig test of traction control that had to be standard in the near future) and maybe those trucks came with a mechanical LSD? Other than that I'm just assuming it's a standard Toyota axle coding system that is used on multiple vehicles and some other vehicles (Tundra, 4Runner, Sequoia) came with an LSD

Thanks for this! I'm a BO3A and now I know I don't need no stinking additives in my regular non synthetic 75w-90 gear oil!

Edit: Went with Amsoil Synthetic Gear Lube for both differentials. Planned to put it in the transfer case as well but found that to be full of very clean fluid so I left it as is. Used Redline MT-90 in the transmission.

Dump clutch and smoke em for a bit. Thats easier then jacking up the truck.

Pretty sure a trd posi was an after purchase option kinda like the superchargers. PO could have added one too. Still a slim chance either of those things happened

I got this off of here about a week ago. I am a B03A too! Are those fears good for the highway? I don't know much about gearing.
