Used the Factory 265/70/16 Rugged Trails from my 15'.

 

Did you have any issue with those tires??

 

ill have to take the pics during the day when i get a chance. and I've had 0 issues, no rubbing at all.

tires are smoothe, drives quiet, no pulling under 60 mph. above 60, you can feel the road a bit more but nothing of concern. overall great tire. pretty much everyone is doing buy 3 get 1 in october free so my dealer gave a price of $775 i think it was, installed.

 

Hey is your truck 4x4 Sport? Did you get a chance to drive it with the OEM Sport 17" street tires? If yes please give me feed back between the Sport tires and your new BFG? Thanks.

its actually 4x2 sr. so it was 16 inch steel wheels. difference in driving and handling was negligible difference to me. but i only drove on oe tires for 2 days.

my stock size was 245/75. way to small for my taste. so i did 265/75

Man I was looking for a used set to use for off roading.

 

I have same truck and color. Love it and people compliment it all the time. I was thinking of going with the black beadlocks with the quicksand and BFG K02s. Thinking I might wait and burn through some miles on OEM rubber first. Don't want the ride to suffer or get louder with the aggressive tires either.

 

Forgot to ask guys but did the 2016 TPMS work in the TRD 16"

 

the parts guy told me when i ordered the wheels. if i have a steel wheel, i would have to purchase sensors. i had steel wheels so i didn't even bother trying to see if they would fit. but him saying that would lead me to believe that if you have allow wheels, those are transferable.

i opted not to worry about sensors, so the light stays on solid for about 15-20 minutes then flashes for a couple minutes then stays solid again.

Yeah steel wheels have a 40 degree offset and will not work! The aluminum rims carry a 20 degree offset. That's what the Beadlock wheels use
