I really would like to have this bumper waiting when my 2016 arrives. I always carry two spare tires and the short bed just looses so much bed space having the second spare tire in there.
Does anyone know if this all-pro or any other aftermarket bumper will infact fit the 2016. The information below from and interview with Sweers says that it should, but i a not sure if I should trust it and take the gamble.

“We left all the [suspension] connection points the same because our customers spend between $3,000 and $8,000 on aftermarket parts,” says Sweers. “So that (aftermarket) industry said to us, ‘Please don’t change what we’re selling.’” Even aftermarket rear bumpers designed for the old truck bolt on the ’16."

I've read that the bed on the '16 is 7% deeper. I'd think that this would make older bumpers have fitment problems. I hope I'm wrong, I want to get the same set up, or maybe an Aluminess rear bumper.

Awesome rear bumper. I hope the 2nd Gen bumpers fit.

It's deeper because they moved the sides up, not the bottom of the bed down. Extra bed depth is going to be a non-issue insofar as 2gen bumper fitting 3gen.

The greenhouse of the new truck is the same, just stamped from stronger steel. Compare pictures from the back and side of both trucks, it's pretty obvious where the additional depth comes from.

I'm surprised no one has tried a 2015 rear bumper yet on a 2016? Anyone?
