    souvenirs?

I could see a small dealership doing at least 5 frames a month. At $46 bucks a frame that would buy pizza for the whole shop. While less than I would have guessed it still has value even if only used to increase morale in the shop.

Keep us posted. We like pics!

I dropped off my '08 Tacoma on the 5th of August to have 5 recalls taken care of. They gave me a rental car then the next day they tell me that it might take up to 2 months to have the frame replaced. I was going to trade this truck in and get a 2016 Subaru Forester. That is all on hold for now, The 2015 RAV4 is so cool that I think I'm going to get the 2016 model when they come out.

So all the coating that was applied last November is gone.

    Will they reapply it?

Hey guys. So I hardly ever log in to post, just read up on general information when needed. Love this site!

Anyway, I made the call to bring my 06 Tacoma in for Thursday (9/3). I kind of wish I read up on the CRC beforehand, due to some of the stories and difficulties with the dealerships. If only spray is needed, I am hoping it won’t come out too bad.

How did the spray turn out? Anybody get this option? PICS?

No photos but mine turned out great. Dealership did a very nice, clean job. They did warn me though that this stuff has to "drip dry" for a few days after application. I was able to park my truck over some large pieces of cardboard I had for about a week. Everything seems good now.

I had mine sprayed November 2014. Still looked pretty good in the spring. Checked again in September 2015 and 50% has flaked off in all the places where the corrosion was bad to begin with. Looks like they didn't clean the frame very well. I scraped off all of the loose stuff and sprayed it with Fluid Film a couple of days ago. If I were to do it again, I probably wouldn't bother with the dealership undercoating. (Though I guess it is better than doing nothing)

My 08 was under coated in November of 2014, then started rusting through that had areas recoated in July of 2015 now it's currently back in the shop getting recoated again since it rusted through- corporate said they sprayed truck and that's all the can do and I have to work with dealer and regional manager... Toyota is now respraying it for a third time, I've just about lost my cool, they should just be replacing the frames at this point!

How about trying this .... Email (so you have a copy and will get a case number) Toyota Corporate asking why they are UNFAIRLY applying the LSC ??
Since you were a good doobee and had it Inspected ASAP, and not waited until just before the LSC Expires in March 2016, You do not get a replacement frame - but others who wait do. I'd add language that makes it clear that you are looking for a "Binding" response so you can pursue this matter as necessary (i.e. Govt/ State Attorney General, Personal Legal help.

When I called corporate back in July they told me there's nothing they can do. I told them what happens if the frame falls apart I crash and kill someone? They said sorry nothing we can do, I lost my cool and said also said do I need to contact my lawyer and they said if that's what you need to do that's what you need to do.
