What's up guys. My hometown is North Carolina, but I am being stationed at dyess AFB in TX in December. I should be bringing my taco back from NC by January, along with my CRF250L. Yes it is 4X4. I would like to know if anyone is around me, and maybe some meet ups? Here is my taco.

Go to the Texas forum https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/texas.46/. There isn't a whole lot I've seen for Abilene. However, my brother lives there (retired C-130 Flight Engineer) and loves it. It's a nice, big little town.

prolly pretty far for you but they have meets, or used to, in Austin. Also hit up the park in Marble Falls.

Yeah, it's 4 hours to both Austin and San Antonio, but a little less to Dallas. Jim goes to Dallas a lot for major shopping (sister-in-law laments a lack of Macy's in Abilene).

Fishing and bird hunting is great, though.

Hi. Texas is great. Texas sucks.

Just like any state. The Perdenales Falls is nice. Dallas has good stuff, Austin is fun, San Antonio is cool, and I still haven't found anything useful for Houston
