Anyone know where I can get running boards or nerf boards (i think this is what they are called) for the 2016 Tacoma, locally or online. All the online places either don't ship to Hawaii or charge a butt load for shipping...

    Thanks

I'll also be looking in the near future so let us know when you get an update. Other posts were saying the dealer provided running boards were flimsy and... they seemed kinda expensive so I'll be looking at some after-market running boards as well. I'm guessing that it'll be just a few months before some local places get them in stock.

I just bought a set from this site auto anything.com. PorZ 5 in nerf bars $250 shipped to OAHU. Use promo code slam22 for 22% off the price. The code expires 10/25 . The other promo code slam20 for 20% off the price. Idk when that one expires.

Never had a problem with my OEM ones and yeah, dealer installed is kinda pricey. You planning on getting the short bed or long bed truck?

Yah, I had read some people in the 3rd gen forum saying it wasn't the greatest in terms of quality and the price definitely didn't help so I'll wait until it is in stock locally.

Short bed. I'm kinda paranoid when it comes to parking as I already park relatively far even with an older vehicle. I figure a little exercise is worth it if it helps me avoid the headache of grandma at Costco clipping my car while she's parking in the stall next to me. A long bed would only make things worse by the back of the truck (or front if I reverse in) sticking out way too far from the stall. Parking is already a nightmare for a lot of places, don't wanna add even more to that problem by having an extra foot stick out - even though it would be more convenient for nearly everything else...
