Alternative to the 285/75/16 tire?

    All the mods
    Current aftermarket 16" wheels have 4.5" backspacing.

    With the hopes of avoiding trimming/chopping issues of the 285/75/16, and maybe not lose as much MPG, what "skinnier" tires sizes do you guys recommend for a 33" (or very close to 33") tire?

    Yeah looks like 255/85/16 is about it. All I've found in that size so far is BFG Mud Terrain KM2s

    Any input on how these perform on wet pavement? Looks like the main complaint of the KM2s is that they are a bit slippery on wet roads.

    Never owned the ST Maxx. There's a tread on them in the " wheels and tires " section.
