Well beman did exactly what I thought they would do, nothing!!!! The point man at the desk just stood there saying I don't know.... I asked for a tec to at least come look at what I had and was told that he didn't know if they had time to, but they had time to take my $27,000 check. After he made a note in his computer I made my way to the service bay. I did find a nice guy that was really helpful and the best advice I got was to bring my Tacoma in there for the next oil change and they will see if they find anything.

I know and understand you can't fix what is not broken but it almost seemed like no one cared and almost like they thought I was telling a lie. Who in the world would do that? The tec guy also said if they find anything Toyota will send in a guy to check it out then send my truck out to repair. Do they not have mechanics at dealers anymore? I would at least dropped the oil pan and looked around. Hell it could even be the coating on the oil pan (if it has one) for all anyone knows.

Trying to envision what could be de-laminating metal in the engine, picked it up with a magnet. Looks like paint. At 29k miles, call Toyota USA and say what you found, and what the dealership thinks of it.
