So I don't exactly own a Tacoma but I do have something close.... I'm a Tundra owner. I'm here because I'm starting to find out there aren't any good active forums for these things. Also there aren't too many Tundra guys doing anything close to what I'm doing with my build so I have no one to bounce ideas off of. That's why I am giving the Tacoma forum a shot. Anyway I'm from just south of Boston, MA. I come from a very active car community (Subaru's) and I'm very tied in to the motorcycle world both on and off road. What brings me to Toyota trucks is my random idea to build a pre-runner/4x4/go anywhere vehicle out of a first-gen Tundra (which is basically a v8 Tacoma) My build is getting a little crazy and most of what I'm doing with this truck has not been attempted before on one of these trucks (aggressive 37" tires, mezzanine rear suspension, maintaining a full bed with 30+ in of rear travel, etc.) So far its been a challenge but has been a lot of fun. Hopefully you guys can give me some support, advice, motivation, and whatever else as I make my way through my build!

Here are a few shots of my truck:
