    Can someone explain to me how a company in 2015 has a website and the auto correct, the guy typing the ad, or the website editor caught "pupple" as a color. Does cheap website=cheap product?

    Good question!! I'd lean toward yes. So what's your company about? What does @Phoenix autoworks sell?

    I can't believe no company would do a better deal then $5...that's sad!! Plenty of guys looked at the GB...most figured...why...not going to mess with it for $5. Too bad...there's a lot of guys out there that really should be running these. OP...thank you for all your time and efforts. No one can say it was due to lack of effort.

    An important note on the install of the VMS can. With the internal hose that goes through the baffles, I trimmed it up another 1-1/2" to go through just the lowest baffle. I found that the tube was too low and when the oil starts to collect, the longer hose which sat near the bottom of the can, would froth up the oil.

    Edit: Also this should go without saying, Unless you are running the supercharger, the top filter does not get used.

    Because the PCV system is a closed loop. if there is a leak between the crank case and the intake manifold the ECM will kick a Check engine light. Just buy new high pressure fuel line and run this oil catch can in-line and plug the top with the "filter plug". the engine on a naturally aspirated engine works to equalize the pressures in crank case by pulling from the intake.

    on a SC engine the intake is now pressurized and if you were to keep the system closed you would over pressurize the crank case and blow seals.

    SNIP: non supercharged=no filter
    supercharged=use filter

    I'm going to start a thread for this oil-catch can so that the information can be easily accessible.

    Well crap, just got an email from the seller, they are out of black lol, I settled for gun metal. I'll probably just sand up the can and paint it black though. I like the black engine compartment, and gun metal does not match at all :D

    Thanks for the attempt, OP. When I get some time, I will get around to buying one of these and installing it. For now, my weekends are filled with duck hunting (and completing my long list of honney-do's)...:thumbsup:
