Is it just me or does the thought of sitting on a wet suit seat cover sound hot? I hope I am wrong. I have not seen the Wet Okole seats in person. Can someone provide some insight before I make the decision on what to buy?

The Coverking does not look as durable however it appears to have a mesh material that may be cooler? I have no idea...

I want the best. Leaning towards Wet Okole but the only thought that is holding me back is a sweaty rear end sitting on a seat cover that doesnt breathe.

    Thanks in advance everybody!!

My 2 cents. I have never had any heat issues with my Wet Okole seat covers. I love them. Stylish and comfortable, with a very tight fit on the seat.

Also: Just shopping on the W. O. website trying to fill my order. I can't seem to find the way to select a logo for the front two seats. Would like to place the TRD logo on them. Will most likely go with light grey and black with hopes of matching the rest of the interior.

Good question. I am always hot, I don't need waterproof but these do seem popular, and timing is good for the group buy. I'm mainly interested because the gray is lighter than I'm used to. mainly looking for protection from dust/dirt/wear, maybe the errant stains from deer hunting.

Are there other good options anyone can recommend?

I have W.O in the front coverking in the rear and honestly both are great but for the price I would have to recommend cover-king.

Unless you have the AC running, they are hot and they will make you sweat a little. I've had my Wet Okole's since 2010 and they've been holding up pretty well. I don't shampoo them as often as I should, but they do clean up really nice & easy. The TRD logo has faded over the years, but overall I like the fit & looks.

I live on Guam where it is really hot and have WO's in my truck, they're all black and don't get that hot. They're comfortable and fit like a glove, I'd highly recommend them.

Any thoughts/opinions on Toyota brand seat covers? Seems like I saw some somewhere. Maybe not.

Although pricey, Wet Okole's are a thicker quality material & fit snugly. Plus, they look really good & have many different style options.

X2. For my money, it doesn't get any better than Wet Okole. Not only do they pretty much 100% protect the seats underneath, but they also add comfort to a vehicle where the seats aren't really known for their long-distance comfort. I roadtrip a lot, and the Wet Okole has been worth its weight in gold.

I know Wet Okoles are pricey, but I consider them worth it. If I had to do it again, I'd absolutely buy Wet Okole again.

    Just my two cents!

Just a few expensive & DIY things...
I have some Coverkings[neosupreme material], and although they arnt bad, they do show stains from underneath but not as much on top of the visible fabric.
They were affordable, fit fairly well and look good. If I were to buy again I'd struggle buying Coverkings again I think..
They aren't hot [i have black with silver centers] , i live in Atlanta and run with windows down 99% of the year.

I have not seen WO in person, but I abuse my CK's and they hold up to the activities and dog abrasion.

Where did you get "wetsuit" from? Is that one of their materials offered? If so, just get the neoprene and you will never regret it!

I wouldn't consider anything other than Wet Okoles seat covers or Katskinz reupholstery. I sold my Wet Okoles this weekend and immediately noticed how hard and uncomfortable the stock (SR5) seats were. They Wet Okoles are more comfortable and IMO, just as cool or more as stock seats alone. I only sold them because I upgraded to TRD seats.

Starting over with a new GMC AT4 Satin Steel Metallic Softopper, Bilstein 5100's @ 1.75 in the front, TSB Rear, 17x8.5 Lvl 8 Guardians, 265/70-17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W, Scooped, Anytime fog mod, Osram Nightbreakers, LED Interior lights, Debadged, Painted valance, Removed rear head rests, De-flapped, Hidden Hitch installed, Weather Techs, Flyzeye'd A/W/A, Cover Kings.
IMO WO's are overpriced. As long as you buy the comparable CoverKing product, not the neosupreme but the true neoprene, you will save a little dough and get the same quality. My CK's have been on for a couple years now, still look new and feel great.

I personally like RuffTuff covers they have a fabric called duraez and that shit rocks! It's a ruff material that you can use a brush to scrub without worrying about damage it gets dirty and it can be done on the seat because material is super thick! Also they have removable pistol pockets on the front row seats and tactical packages on back that can hold rifles and all kinds of other crap. A little pricey "mine cost about $800 for the works" but it's worth the money and a friend of mine has had his for years with no problems.
You can also mix and match between he different fabrics they carry I have duraez outside and carbon fiber weave inside

Get the covers that are best for you OP, I honestly would only buy WO used for a better price but there may be a GB soon. I'm posting because I forgot to add, they're truly waterproof. I shampooed them and sprayed water all over them in respectable amounts, they were damp on the surface after the washing and when I took them off the underside was completely dry.

A WO group buy just ended - as in just ended 1.5 hrs ago - but they normally do one every quarter or so.

Be sure and check the 'Group Buy' section for the next time someone does one.
