    hey guys/gals, looking for some insight. I bought a set of used icon VS 2.0 rear shocks for a pretty decent deal and at the time I was gonna just use them with my stock leaf springs. I found a set of allpro expo leaf packs for good deal and couldn't pass them up. My questions is, can i use the icon VS 2.0 rear shock ( non-ext travel ) or do I NEED to use a exstended travel shock?

    What would be some other options? Maybe b110 shock? Any help would be great!

    I would think the shock has to be at least 10". If the icons are 10" then use them.

    Definitely need extended travel, you will be at or close to full extension with stock length shocks with the truck just sitting there, it will be really harsh on any bump. There are options from OME, and Bilstein, as well as Icon and Fox for extended length shocks that will work for you, but you will probably want extended bump stops also to avoid damaging the shocks. Calling All-Pro would probably be a good start, I know they recommend the fox shocks they have on their site.

    The shocks need to have 9.6" of travel to run the expos

    Fox offers a few different "levels" of shocks, depending on your budget.

    Fox 2.5 Factory Series with DSC adjuster; $1,199.00/pair;
    Fox P/N 883-26-006

    Fox 2.0 Performance Series -CD Adjuster; $669.90/pair; Fox P/N 985-26-118

    Fox 2.0 Performance Series -
    Non-Adjustable; $449.90/pair; Fox P/N 985-24-118

    These shocks offer a remote reservoir for a 0-3" lift and work very with expos
