I have followed so many builds on this website and ExPo for years, it only seems right to continue the fun and the art of spending money.
With the likes of Dave[TacoDoc], Bob [NYCO] and Robert [Barlowrs] and a handful of fantastic others like Chux and Crom, I begin this journey [again].
I have always been a fan of Toyota vehicles and this one seems to fit us just right and be the base of future fun exploring our great nation and hopefully beyond.

I began my search for a 4WD after my fun weekend with Underwater [h2Overland] Expo East 2015. [great people; changed my view since the year prior]

Origin: My 2WD 2010 TRD Off Road did quite well that fateful weekend and never got stuck due to my locked rear and careful wheel+throttle and a new trusty [Jeep] friend; thanks Oscar, with a winch ready to poke fun...

Weeks later my wife and I return from a trip from Maui, which apparently is overrun with Tacoma's, which was amazing, and we returned to the idea of upgrading to a family and adventure truck to last us forever.
So I spent an entire day un-molesting my 2010 for the transfer of goodies to the new truck...


Goal: To build a daily driver & a hybrid extreme camping; aka Overland/Exploring/Adventuring/genre, truck.

Added some basic ones, hope to have some decent ones shot once I get the rest of everything installed and in the mountains!

 

The original owner of the 2015 bought a 2016 and paid to have the wheels swapped, which I didn't mind due to the faux bead-lock [but the BFG tires would have been nice] and I had my coveted 235/85 Cooper st MAXX on my set from my 2010[which you see now on the truck]. I bought a second pair of TRD wheels last year for my trailer, and just put those on the truck for trade in.

So, I had the 2016 TRD OR Wheels and tires initially as of a few days ago, which are now set aside for my trailer and I put my 2010 TRD OR wheels back on, since I have run them for a while and I know I'll be running this truck hard.

Desert run in May diving out there and back to the East Coast [home]

I had so much fun building this rare find of a military relic, a great M100 off-road military adventure trailer for sure.

Story: My wife and I built this and towed it from Atlanta to the beautiful South West for a 3 week vacation.
It handled everything Moab and the West could throw at us, it even floats.

If you want a fantastic easily towed and tracking trailer, this is for you, it is ready to go.
Great for overlanders, adventurers, and those that just love calling it Camping, family trips or weekend fun.
I have no regrets with this trailer, it's just awesome.
*Tent raise to easily accommodate 6ft tall folks, I'm short at 5,6 and have no problems raising or lowering the tent
