Luckily it's not from my taco. I was changing the oil on all my cars today and when working on my beater car, a 99 daewoo lanos (the "dawoomanizer"), I found a one inch long chunk of metal attached to the magnetic drain plug. It is smooth and grooved on one side and rough on the other. It is rounded on the edge. Any mechanics out there can help me out? I was planning on trading this car in for a new car for my wife in a few months but I'm thinking I should limit driving it if the engine is falling apart from the inside. It still runs fine, it all ways ran a bit rough at idle. It's just shy of 100k miles and no check engine light yet! Other than the big chunk of metal the oil looked fine. I'm thinking it may be part of the crank?

Even though this isn't Tacoma related hopefully someone can help me out. Thanks!
