You were able to get that triple stick linkage on and off a heck of a lot faster than me! :anonymous:

Hopefully we'll only have to do it once more to set them right. The FJ High/Low needs to move about 3/4" toward driver and the Turtle stick needs to go 1/2" passenger. After that they should not crash into each other with the knobs on. For now to really shift in every pattern i have to take them all off.

I use one of these for dropping the cases and trans, hydraulic table cart, makes it so easy.

It's hard to find one without the levers on the removeable handle like this one though, or a decent price.

It's not so much the lifting into place as the suddenly dropping it that gets you!

So yesterday's fun started early in the afternoon with me taking advantage of the Senior Reactor Technician's time off... :p

Parked in the sea of Toyota's ready to wrench:

Besides the stupid leak there are a few things that I needed help on:
1.Electrical hook ups - dash lights and ADD switch
    2.Stick positioning
    3.New cross member

After that I need to reconnect the exhaust and then redo the skids to fit the new configuration.

Since Ant's the resident electrical expert keeping SNJ lit up he went to it:

He had wiring diagrams for days...

He rerouted shit that would baffle a Toyota tech.

Look at this fucking work of art. Fucking look at it!!!

Eight connections spliced into the factory harnesses with only having 3 different color wires working in the cold and dark.

Oh, and the shit works fucking perfectly on the first try.

No pics of the T-case nightmare but we dropped the whole shebang and gooped it all up and wrestled it back in.

Zero leaks on the crawlbox since then - and that's 24 hours later and a one hour fifteen minute drive home on the highway at 65mph.

Also the low and 4wd indicators in the dash function 100% as well as the speedometer. (all connected to the new FJ case)

Still need a cross member and stick adjustment but at least now it's all 100% functional.

I've got to get the exhaust done asap though - it sounds like driving next to a harley with open headers!
