So I'm always looking for side work, and this is just another little something that I do to make a few extra bucks locally.
I'm a high school art teacher by trade specializing in drawing, painting, ceramics, and design and my personal interests focus on watercolor painting.

These are some of the house portraits I've done in the past and if you're interested in having one done feel free to contact me.
My prices range depending on size but start with 11in x 14in for $100 and up.
These are not photos, or photoshop trickery, but 100% original artwork produced by me from start to finish with high quality artist grade materials and papers.

I checked out your website, Scott. Some very beautiful pieces on there. Do you only deal locally?

I've shipped my paintings all over, I use art boxes which are usually a little larger dimension than the artwork itself and about three inches or so wide packed with the Airbags to keep the artwork safely in the middle or sandwiched between foam when possible. Haven't had any issues so far. :fingerscrossed:

Sweet. I would love to have a water color painting of my house done sometime in the future.
The way my house is shaped, it's very hard to fit it into one photo (a lot of elevation change and trees in the way). Would you be able to work with several photos and combine them into one painting?

I can certainly do my best. Seeing how it's difficult for me to see it in person the more views I have to work from the better. That way I can stich together pieces that go together. Maybe even a short video along with the pics might provide the missing elements hidden by the trees. I like the challenge!

Dropping in some background colors. Don't worry, It won't look like that in the end! :D

It would be really cool to see how the original photograph compares to your watercolor painting.

    Like this?

I'm making some subtle changes, like the car will be a police car since he's a former police chief, I'll make the plantings look fuller below the deck and have the umbrella on the deck open instead of closed.

Thanks! I've got a few more steps in order to finish up the background trees, still a few more layers of color which will get it a little closer.
