I have this ominous thud when I come to a complete stop from driving more than 20 mph. I noticed that the thud is less pronounced, even absent, when I gradually slow to a stop. I just replaced the shocks/struts on all four corners and the thud is not as bad as it was before, but it's still there. I've tried slowing to a stop in all gears (even in neutral) and it's still present. Anyone know what it could possibly be? My truck is an 02 V-6 4WD if that matters. Thanks

Axle rap mine is horrible, and plans for new rear springs.

Mine does it too, rebuilt the front suspension so all is good there, almost has to be the rear leafs, doesn't hurt anything, I just don't like it, 158k miles on mine.
